A racing sim that runs in a browser tab. LibreCorsa by KhazP does 500 Hz physics, a Pacejka style tyre with a 9 node thermal model, and force feedback over WebHID. No install. I want to know how the tyre model holds up at the limit.

LibreCorsa – Browser-based F1 racing sim
I built a free, open-source racing sim that runs directly in your browser with zero install:
- 2026-style F1 car physics (500 Hz loop, active aero Z/X modes, ERS battery management, tyre thermals).
- Fan-made Rwanda circuit based on the proposed renders and local terrain elevation data.
- Works on PC with keyboard, controller, or steering wheel (including WebHID force feedback in Chrome/Edge).
- Serverless P2P multiplayer via copy-paste room codes.
Code is MIT-licensed. Still WIP, so feedback is welcome!

Side Project: Browser Based Racing Sim for Newly Proposed Rwanda GP
With F1 announcing the Rwanda deal this week, I wanted to share a side project I’ve been building for the last 3 days: an F1 sim that runs in your browser.
- 2026-style F1 car with ERS and active aero
- Fan-made Rwanda circuit (not the official layout, but a copy of the proposed renders)
- Keyboard, controller or steering wheel support
Play: khazp.github.io
Code (public repo): KhazP/rwanda-f1-2026-sim
It’s a free, open-source non-commercial fan project. Some of the 3D models and mod assets I used are licensed for non-commercial use only. Still very WIP, so feedback is welcome!

Racing sim in Three.js: 500 Hz vehicle physics, GPU tyre deformation and physics simulations
Side project, 3 days in. Everything runs client-side: Next.js static export, Three.js for rendering, Web Audio for the engine sound.
Rendering: AgX tone mapping, a PMREM sky environment, a car-tracking sun shadow, bloom, clearcoat paint, and tyres that deform on the GPU (contact patch flattening, sidewall bulge) driven by the physics.
Physics: a separate fixed 500 Hz loop with 2 kHz substeps for the tyres and suspension.
