WM Keyboard -- spotlight on my favorite FOSS keyboard This is the first FOSS keyboard that has truly replaced gboard for me. It is modular with I believe 70+ tools you can enable or disable as needed. Some tools included are: Notes (in markdown), todo list, moon phases, weather, dictionary, vocabulary, calendar, text scanner, text formatter, an add-on repo, app launcher, and so much more. wasi-master/wmkeyboard Note that there are different builds on the releases (full version , no internet version, etc.): github.com/wasi-master/wmkeyboard/releases You can also get it on F-Droid if you are comfortable with the slower release cycle and limitations of that build. Documentation: wmkeyboard.pages.dev One of the greatest newer features is two-finger swipe/glide/tap which was a feature of an older keyboard called Nintype / Keyboard69 (and also Keymonk). You can combine swipes with taps. Here is an old Nintype demo to demonstrate what I'm talking about. youtube.com (If you want to see another implementation of that feature, Kinetica also allows it. EZ-eta/kinetica ) It's hard for me to decide what all to include in this post because it's the ultimate big brain keyboard by u/wasimaster . He fixes bugs and implements features like someone cutting the heads off of a Hydra. Just one after another. It's why I prefer to get the Github builds via Obtainium, so I can get the newest releases quicker.

WM keyboard for Android now has two finger swipe This keyboard is open source and has two different modes for swiping with two thumbs. You have to enable the mode in settings >typing>gestures wasi-master/wmkeyboard play.google.com f-droid.org

wasi-master/13ft is already open sourced

WM Keyboard for Android [meta post, no 2 hand typing yet] WM Keyboard: wasi-master/wmkeyboard I just wanted to make everyone aware of a completely amazing keyboard that is available for free and open source on Android. The developer has implemented a crazy amount of features, and I don't doubt that if someone put in a feature request on GitHub to do two hand typing that he might consider implementing it. Although it doesn't have two hand typing, I tend to prefer it because it's so amazingly packed with features that it can do about anything I want it to. Kinetica is still the best open source two hand typing keyboard possible on Android. The developer is also very responsive and has implemented a crazy amount of awesome features. EZ-eta/kinetica I'm hoping the developers of both keyboards can get inspiration from each other.
