@Massimokris Entiendo que usa la misma technología que tulir/whatsmeow, pero por qué eso es garantía que no te pueden bannear la cuenta?

@fabricated_mnd Yes, that's pretty much it
I use this under the hood tulir/whatsmeow
If you don't try to do anything like massive broadcasts or automated marketing, you'll be safe

@DruinBenny no, it doesn't work when your mac is offline
I use the same technology Beeper uses (tulir/whatsmeow), I just didn't want to connect my personal message to any external service (like beeper)
Currently i have my local server tunneled through cloudflare so i can use it in my Muse bot

@imkaikhalid nope, especially if you run it locally on your mac
it uses the same technology the actual whatsapp desktop app uses, check tulir/whatsmeow
I use this under the hood, the ui is just for setup

Introducing a WhatsApp Light Tool
Disclaimer:
1. This is an unofficial tool and is not affiliated with WhatsApp/Meta/Light and requires sideloading (similar to other community developed apps)
2. This works as a paired device rather than registering your number- you still do need another smartphone which is able to register and link devices
Latest Release: github.com/vbbot/whatsapp-light/releases/latest
Kanban Board (if you want to see what's been worked on and what's still pending): github.com/users/vbbot/projects/1
Credits:
1. whatsmeow, meowcaller: for reverse engineering the WhatsApp Web messaging and calling protocol
2. light-sdk
3. chats: for design inspiration
Inspiration: While there are perfectly capable tools that exist that allow texting on WhatsApp, like chats (mentioned in the credits), it relies on having a Beeper or a matrix homeserver setup. And one of the main features missing is calling. Having family abroad, who primarily use WhatsApp, I wanted to have WhatsApp calling and hence, building this was a personal motivator for me.
Features(off the top of my head):
1. Messaging (group and individual)
2. Calling (audio and video including group calling)
3. Scroll wheel and button support:
4. - settings toggle to allow scrolling chat and message lists in the app
5. - Pressing the button opens the chat or the context menu for the button
6. - Single pressing on incoming calls accepts the call; long pressing declines it
7. Sticker, GIFs, photos, video rendering
8. Replies and reactions
9. Voice messages
10. Deleting and editing messages
11. Mute, archive, pin, delete chats
12. Proper call notifications on smartwatches (tested on a Garmin Epix Gen 2)
13. Accept/decline calls with earphones (tested with AirPods pro 3)
This has been built from the ground up, but a lot of work has gone into tweaking it (to the point of identifying upstream bugs in the calling protocol and reverse engineering a fix)
The current work is at initial stages, expect bugs. Looking for feedback from the community to help improve this further.

@dionisiodev Vai de evolution-foundation/evolution-go se quer algo já pronto, ou desenvolve o seu com base no tulir/whatsmeow, que é o que a Evo usa por baixo.
