rainy.ie - Winter is coming I love the data in the Met Eireann app, but for the purpose of avoiding rain it's quite terrible. To fix this I built the new free web app rainy.ie . It's super simple but gives you everything you need to stay dry - Radar of all the rain in the past hour, without the silly flickering in the Met Eireann app that makes it so difficult to tell the direction the rain is moving - A single slider that can take you into the past all the way in to the future with Met Eireann's forecasts for the coming days. It's built using the great open data sets that Met Eireann publish online, it's completely free of course and you can easily install it on any iPhone or Android. Just go to the site, click the Install App link and follow the instructions. The code is all open source and available here if you would like to contribute too shaneosullivan/rainy I'd love to hear whatever feedback you all have, either at [support@rainy.ie](mailto:support@rainy.ie) or just reply here
