Gameplay for Substrike (Alpha) Hey everyone! Wanted to share some gameplay footage from SubStrike, the FPS game we’ve been building for Reddit! I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts, feedback, or suggestions on what we’ve put together so far. Any insight is appreciated as we continue developing and refining the game! On a separate note, I also wanted to follow up on pointer lock support, as it’s a pretty essential feature for FPS games like ours. Last I heard, it was on the roadmap but wasn’t a priority at the time. I’ve since spoken with another developer who submitted a similar request and received a different timeline, so I was hoping to get some clarity on where things currently stand. I know the team has a lot going on, and I appreciate all the work being put into Devvit! Even a general update on whether this is being actively considered or what the potential timeline looks like would be incredibly helpful for developers building more advanced games. GitHub request: devvit#295 Anywho, here’s some gameplay! Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts. Thanks, y’all!

Open sourcing SuiteReact: React apps inside NetSuite, with local dev and AI tooling Hello netsuite community! I've been a long time lurker here and have spent even longer developing custom solutions for ERP/finance systems. I work on finance technology at Reddit, and I’m excited to open source something we've built. It's called SuiteReact MCP (reddit/suitereact-mcp). It’s a toolkit for building custom, feature-packed React apps that run inside NetSuite as Suitelets. You can develop locally against your account’s data, then build and deploy the app into NetSuite. Data Viewer app allows users to quickly explore record data It also includes tools that let a coding agent inspect account metadata, run SuiteQL, and follow reusable build and verification workflows. The React framework works independently if you don’t use an AI agent. There's too much included to outline it all here, so check out the repo README for more info. The toolkit includes some sample apps to demonstrate capabilities and design patterns. At Reddit, we've used it for many apps including AR cash application, revenue accrual, bulk discounting, intercompany automation, and more. If you give it a try, I'd welcome any feedback and would love to hear about the types of apps you build!
