There are developers who know terminal commands. And then there are developers who make the terminal look like a superpower. This repo teaches practical shell tricks, command-line workflows, and debugging techniques. jlevy/the-art-of-command-line
@SamCorcos - make and use starter kits that reduce early cost in greens field projects - manage build size and clean target before it reaches drive ballooning - if you are translating, try using a guided outline written by a human expert, similar to @ojoshe github.com/jlevy/rust-porting-playbook/activity - avoid the 100% rust unless you really need to - finally build more specs and verification methods for work so that when you move out of rust, there are clean entry and exit traces for the future agents
@copyconstruct Yes! The difference in code quality between having a strong set of engineering principles and vanilla Claude is enormous. Curious to see your engineering principles. I spent a few months pulling out rules and principles as well and they are here: jlevy/tbd
@davidmbudden I think it's too much for arXiv at this point. All records I'm aware of are tabulated at jlevy.github.io with more coming in every day. If you have new results or records documented in a repo then file an issue jlevy/squares with the relevant links (and what name to use for the credit). Agents run daily, do verification, and update the records.
@bfloat8 @ManassehA06 @ojoshe @kleddamag @wand_125 @ctjlewis currently struggling to push n17 but i think we'll get there see latest progress on n17 jlevy/squares here
