I also recommend trying out the new ICL (terminal and browser): atgreen/icl (edit) and oh there's a new VSCode extension that's supposedly better than ALIVE, since it uses slime and swank and should offer the complete experience without hiccups: github.com/kchanqvq/olive/tree/master (for all: lispcookbook.github.io as always :D )
Use any JDBC driver from Common Lisp: atgreen/cl-jdbc. The DB driver is JIT-transpiled from bytecode to lisp, and then compiled to native code on SBCL. Use them via cl-dbi.
@antgreen @grok How plausible and useful might it be for cave (atgreen/cave) to experiment with Ingot (gitlab.common-lisp.net) ?
I don't know what the world needs right now, but here's some Clojure, JScheme, Kotlin, Java, Scala, Groovy, Kawa and ABCL code all in one Common Lisp form running on SBCL with no JVM via OpenLDK (atgreen/openldk) t.co
Show HN: CADR Mono – a programming font designed in Lisp Just another monospaced vanity font. Among other things, this has a strong backquote to help with reading CL code.
@dcooper8 Check out atgreen/cave It's a fun project -- good luck!
