Apostrophe 4.34.0 released: 11 security fixes, per-tenant AI usage tracking, and multisite robots.txt/llms.txt for Astro Apostrophe 4.34.0 is out. Apostrophe is an open-source Node.js CMS with in-context editing that works with Astro. This is a maintenance release, and the main reason to upgrade is security. Security: this release fixes 11 responsibly disclosed vulnerabilities in core, Import/Export and sanitize-html. None are rated high severity. They include: - Gaps in REST API access control - Publish permissions that weren't enforced in some cases - Stored XSS through widget style attributes and color fields - Hardening in Import/Export Some of these fixes change behavior, so read the "Security" section of the release notes before you upgrade. In particular, check publishRole and publicApiProjection if you use them. Other changes: - A new ai:usage event gives one record per provider response, with its token counts. You can add your own labels with usageMetadata. This is useful if you need to bill AI usage per customer. - In multisite Astro projects, each site now serves its own robots.txt and llms.txt. This uses the new literalRoutesScope option. - The Anthropic, OpenAI and Gemini adapters now default to newer models. The Gemini adapter now uses the Interactions API. - Astro page payloads are about a third smaller because bestPage was removed. - Translations in six languages are fixed, and screen reader labels are improved. To upgrade, run npm update. Full changelog: apostrophe#5669 Feedback and questions are welcome here or via our other channels.
