  1. Claude Code で "Could not process image" "Request too large" "PDF too large" が出たときの直し方(画像は長辺 2000px 以下に) Claude Code に画像や PDF を渡したあと、Could not process image や Request too large、PDF too large API Error: an image in the conversation could not be processed and was removed. Double press esc to edit your message, or re-read the file if you still need it. Image was too large. Double press esc to go back and try again with a smaller image. messages.<N>.content.<M>.image.source.base64.data: At least one of the image dimensions exceed max allowed size for many-image requests: 2000 pixels Request too large (max 32MB). Accumulated images and attachments in the conversation pushed the request over the limit. Run /compact, or double press esc to go back and remove attachments. Request too large (max 20MB). Double press esc to go back and try with a smaller file. PDF too large. Please double press esc to edit your message and try again. - 公式 Error reference の Image was too large: 単体は 8000px、画像 20 枚超なら 3000px - 公式 Error reference の Unable to resize image: Claude Code 自身の文言が 2000x2000px limit - issue で報告された API のエラー文: many-image requests: 2000 pixels どれが正しいかは、私の手元では切り分けられていません。 claude --version B="$(readlink -f "$(which claude)")" for s in "Could not process image" "could not be processed and was removed" "Request too large (max" "PDF too large" "Image was too large" "many-image requests"; do printf '%s: ' "$s"; grep -a -c -F -- "$s" "$B"; done 2.1.318 (Claude Code) Could not process image: 3 could not be processed and was removed: 2 Request too large (max: 2 PDF too large: 2 Image was too large: 2 many-image requests: sips -g pixelWidth -g pixelHeight big.png sips -Z 2000 big.png --out small.png sips -g pixelWidth -g pixelHeight small.png pixelWidth: 4000 pixelHeight: 3000 pixelWidth: 2000 pixelHeight: 1500 -Z Double press esc to go back Request rejected as unprocessable by the model 公式の Error reference(Unable to resize image)には、次のような原因が書かれています。 PDF too large (max 100 pages, 20MB). Try reading the file a different way (e.g., extract text with pdftotext). pdftoppm is not installed. Install poppler-utils (e.g. `brew install poppler` or `apt-get install poppler-utils`) to enable PDF page rendering. compacting cannot make it fit 同じ原因で出る別のメッセージ - Request rejected as unprocessable by the model (too many or oversized images, or unsupported parameters) は、画像や文書が多すぎるときの API の文言です。対処は Esc 2 回で戻るか /clear です(公式) - Request too large (max 32MB; 20.1MB of about 33.4MB is images or documents). papoo.work 参考 - 公式 Error reference(Request too large): code.claude.com - 公式 Error reference(Image was too large): code.claude.com - 公式 Error reference(Unable to resize image): code.claude.com - 公式 Error reference(PDF errors): code.claude.com - issue #13480(Could not process image でセッションが詰む): claude-code#13480 - issue #60334(画像エラーのループ): claude-code#60334 - issue #34751(Request too large): claude-code#34751 - issue #13518(PDF too large): claude-code#13518

出典:github.com/anthropics/claude-code/releases/tag/v2… GET /v1/organizations/analytics/costで、過去の利用費用を期間・開発者別・日次・IdPグループ別に取得できます。 記録の保存期間はadmin.identity_retention_daysで設定でき、コストレポートAPIでグループ別の集計にも使えます。 タイムアウトが10秒に設定され、OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_TIMEOUTで最大30秒まで変更できます。 関連記事: note.com

There is always stuff coming up that you can learn from, and this week, this issue surfaced up. TLDR; in your Claude Code sessions, a simple feature that helps you signpost where you currently are, can quickly consume tokens over time. What is interesting is that this issue has two dimensions. The first, the recap message you see during your sessions, is one that you can easily disable via /config (turning recap from the default of true, to false to disable it). All good, except that this doesn't fix the issue for subagents. The issue comments go on to show how you can work around this (effectively disabling the spawning of agents). This gist provides a hacky solution which I would not implement myself, but am sharing as its interesting to dive deeper into this issue. --- _If you enjoyed this, then remember to subscribe to the IndiciumAI blog so that you can keep up to date with future editions of this newsletter, as well as other great content that technologists at IndiciumAI will publish._

  5. The 2.1.313 tag is missing from anthropics/claude-code too, in both CHANGELOG.md and as a git tag. This makes me think it might have been Claude Code's CI that was compromised

Claude Code's new "games" rule shut down my small business overnight. I'm a Claude for Startups member and trusted tester, and support's bot told me there are no exceptions. I'm posting this as someone who is, on paper, about as inside the tent as a small customer gets. I run Conflict Simulations LLC, a small board game publisher. Anthropic accepted my company into Claude for Startups in October. I'm an early access trusted tester. I pay for Claude on multiple accounts and my whole business runs on Claude Code. My paid work is building personalized digital modules of board wargames for individual clients, from games they own, for their own use. Original code, written from materials the clients supply. A lot of it exists so older players, and players whose physical or social circumstances keep them from playing in person, can still play. This is not piracy, and it is not close to piracy. This week a new server-delivered instruction in Claude Code (reported publicly under the flag name "tengu_heron_brook") began refusing that work outright: no recreations of specific existing games, even renamed. The part that still gets me: my sessions kept doing the work fine after the rule reportedly shipped, until I saw the rule discussed on Twitter and asked Claude to check whether it affected us. From that moment, refusal. I cleared the session; sessions working from the same repositories still refuse. The system did not think my work was a violation until I asked it to audit itself. Support, from both of my accounts, was the Fin bot: the policy "applies to all customers without exception," and no exemption or verification path exists for professionals. Both tickets eventually reached humans; one is now with a "specialist team" with no timeline given. I have filed a Safeguards appeal, emailed the one Anthropic PM I actually know, sent /feedback (that one was less polite), and opened a public issue: claude-code#106167 Meanwhile the work still has to get done, so as of this morning my agent stack is running on Kimi, with Codex as fallback. I do not love that. I would rather be here. But Anthropic has effectively made the decision for me, and I suspect I am not the only developer being pushed toward Chinese models this week by a rule that cannot tell the difference between piracy and legitimate work. I keep coming back to the same thought: this is partly on me for placing real trust in an AI company. I built my business on Claude because it was the best tool, and because Anthropic seemed like the adults in the room. Right now it feels like a stab in the back. Has anyone else been hit by this rule, on games or anything adjacent? And has anyone, anywhere, gotten an actual statement from Anthropic about what changed? Because so far, from where I sit, there is not one. one correction, I stated this incorrectly earlier: my whole business doesn't run on claude code. conflict simulations is a board game publisher first, that's the bulk of it and it's fine. this hit the module work specifically, which is a real part of my income and the part that got shut off overnight. edit: one confusion that keeps coming up. the games on my website are my physical board games, that's my publishing catalog, and yeah the site hasn't been updated since before any of the AI stuff, it needs a refresh lol. the module work isn't on there and isn't a product. it's a private service, commission only: a client hires me to build a module of a game they own, for them. nothing is listed, sold, or handed out.
