AI Can Write Software. What Is My Experience Worth? AI can now write software I spent years learning to build. So what is all that experience worth? I've been figuring that out through my own work, including a project I'd hand over to AI today and another I'd still write myself. I've been programming since I was eight, starting on a TRS-80 from Radio Shack. I've shipped products with Microsoft and was most recently a principal at Amazon Web Services. These days, I'm finding that knowing which questions to ask matters just as much as knowing how to write the code. What would you happily hand over to AI, and what would you still want to do yourself? Let me know in the comments. Subscribe to keep learning with me. Making sense of AI, together.
