BYD Multi Patcher update. ABRP now reads BYD SOC natively, Uses BYD speech engine for navigation plus a few other UI fixes. + Waze with UI fixes. My BYD Spotify Patcher has grown quite a bit, so I’ve renamed it BYD Multi Patcher. The latest version now supports ABRP, Waze and Spotify. ABRP Stock ABRP installs and runs on BYD normally, but the layout isn’t great. The car sits way down in the bottom-right corner, and some UI elements are hidden behind BYD bottom bar. The patch now: - Enables native BYD battery SOC in ABRP - Uses the BYD native TTS engine for navigation voice prompts - Centres the car on the map - Makes the side panel narrower and less intrusive - Fixes UI elements hidden behind the BYD bottom bar The battery integration works really well. No OBD dongle or separate telemetry app is needed. ABRP reads the BYD battery percentage directly from the car. However, this was only tested on a 2023 Atto 3. Waze Waze had a similar problem. The car was stuck near the bottom-right of the screen. The patch: - Centres the car on the map - Narrows the side panels - Repositions the speedometer - Enables Waze EV features by default on install Spotify The Spotify 9.1 profile now supports a newer version. Both Spotify 9.1 and Spotify 8.9 versions both have improved/reinforced autoplay on car startup. Installation changes I’ve also simplified the patcher, so all profiles now use .apkm files only instead of mixing APK and APKM. They’re generally smaller and much easier to find/download from APKMirror. Project + installation instructions: https://github.com/AR-D-R/BYD-Multi-Patcher Installation You’ll need an unlocked BYD infotainment system, a non-stock browser such as Firefox, and a non-stock file manager such as CX File Explorer. Install BYD Multi Patcher, select the profile you want, download the supported APKM version using the link in the app, then open it in the patcher and hit Install. The patcher will verify the version, apply the changes and launch the normal Android installation screen. Full installation instructions and supported app versions are on GitHub. If you try the patcher, feedback would be very welcome. Please let me know which BYD model/year you tested it on and whether everything worked properly. The previous version was downloaded 100+ times, so even a quick “worked on my 2023 Atto 3” would be really useful. If you run into any problems, post them here or open an issue on GitHub.
