What does it do?
It is tooling and libraries for enforcing zero heap allocations (dynamic memory allocations) in Go code. [1] It lets you mark a Go function as one that should not allocate, then checks that function and everything it calls for heap allocations and reports allocating lines. [2a][2b] For example, marking a function with //noalloc:root and running the noalloc command reports allocations such as a map write or string concatenation in that function. [3]

noalloc: Tooling and libraries to enforce zero heap allocations in Golang
Inspired by oxcaml's zero_alloc, I've been working on a tool to help clamp down on heap allocations in Golang. theconsensuslabs/noalloc
