Supabase .NET DevLog #16
Welcome to our weekly log for the Supabase .NET SDK 🎉
As mentioned in the previous post, I focused on the automatic generation of our feature compliance file, which is now done.
The SDK provides annotations we place on public members to indicate which feature they relate to. After each push on master, the compliance file is regenerated and ready to be pulled by other systems. An additional step in our quality gate also verifies that every annotated feature exists in our capability matrix.
The file is now my "north star", a backlog of its own: every missing feature is an item that I need to implement. FYI the SDK currently sits at roughly 50% parity with our platform.
Since I joined Supabase four months ago, I focused on making the SDK robust enough to move fast(er). Now, we're building momentum and starting a new phase: catching up on the feature drift.
As usual, stay tuned and happy coding!

Welcome to our weekly log for the Supabase .NET SDK 🎉
For the 4th week in a row, the repository had 10+ weekly community PRs merged 🎉 This is incredible! As such, v8.4.0 got released last week.
Thanks to @fresh55 and @diegofesanto for helping me burning the existing backlog.
Like I said in the previous post, I was partially OOO last week so it was short and quiet.
For this week and onwards, I started to focus on feature parity and especially on the compliance file generation (and its automation). This file is my "North Star" to define which feature is currently supported by the SDK, and which isn't.
Unfortunately, it's not developer-facing or interesting for you but it remains a mandatory step before I start tackling this backlog.
Hopefully, I'll get done with it this week and will be able to share more about the backlog next week.
As usual, stay tuned and happy coding!

Welcome to our weekly log for the Supabase .NET SDK 🎉
So, I have finally some blog posts to share!
- Introducing the Unified Supabase .NET SDK
- Getting started with the .NET SDK
There are also a couple of entries on Supabase's Changelog:
- The Supabase .NET SDK is now officially supported
- ASP.NET Core dependency injection for the Supabase .NET SDK
Changelog entries come with their own discussion thread on GitHub, so feel free to engage in there.
And more are on the way
Otherwise, we continued delivering series of fixes with v8.3.1. Make sure to upgrade whenever you can.
Now that the transition to official support is "officially" (_badam-tsss_) completed, I will prepare the next major objective for our roadmap: reaching 100% feature-parity with the platform.
This is going to take a while given the SDK has been inactive for so long, but we'll get there.
This week will be a short one for me, as I'll be on PTO for a couple of days.
As usual, stay tuned and happy coding!

Welcome to our weekly log for the Supabase .NET SDK 🎉
Sorry for being a little late on this one.
Like I said last week, I spent more time working on content. We now have blog posts and changelog entries coming soon, scheduled for the next couple of weeks.
Similar to last week, a big shout out to contributors! Y'all keep me quite busy with reviews, but I love it. It's so cool to see the community involved in the SDK, and the list of issues keeps shrinking day after day.
On a side note, I started working on an Observability initiative that will be very interesting for SDK users in the short term. At the moment, the SDK already provides support for OpenTelemetry but the traces/spans we emit will receive an update very soon.
Have a nice one, and stay tuned!
