Free GitHub tool: find files quickly with fd
If you know part of a filename but not where it lives, fd is a handy terminal search tool. It looks through the current folder and its subfolders using a short command, and it respects ignore files by default.
On a Mac with Homebrew installed: `brew install fd`. Go to your project folder and run `fd invoice` to list matching paths. Try `fd -e pdf invoice` to narrow it to PDFs. Hidden and ignored files are skipped unless you change the options, so check its help if a file seems missing.
