Free GitHub tool: read code more clearly with bat
If you often open code files in a terminal, `bat` is a free alternative to `cat` that adds syntax highlighting, line numbers and Git change markers. It reads files; this example does not edit them.
On a Mac with Homebrew, install it with `brew install bat`. In a project folder, try `bat README.md`. If you want to pass its output to another command without paging, see the repo's `--paging=never` option.
The project offers MIT or Apache-2.0 licensing, and this local use needs no account or paid API. I have not tested it on your machine.

命令行看文件,也可以看得舒服一点。
bat能显示语法高亮和行号,还能显示Git修改标记。喜欢终端里顺手看代码的,可以逛逛这个项目。

Plain terminal output hard to read?
bat adds syntax highlighting, line numbers and Git change markers when viewing files.
A nicer way to inspect code.

bat pipes its own output to a pager (less) if the output is too large for one screen. If you would rather bat work like cat all the time (never page output), you can set --paging=never as an option, either on the command line or in your configuration file.

bat: a colorful cat for your terminal
bat adds syntax highlighting and Git-aware diffs to the classic cat command, so code pops with colors and changes are shown inline. Use the –show-all flag to reveal hidden whitespace and characters, all written in Rust.
