What does it do?
Preact lets you create user interfaces by assembling trees of components and elements (README.md:50). [1] Its render() function takes a tree description, creates the described structure, adds it to a parent element, and later calls update the existing tree in place (README.md:52). [2] Components are functions or classes that return a description of their tree's output, typically written in JSX, a syntax for element trees with props and children (README.md:50). [3]
