What does it do?
HackiOS boots Apple's open-source XNU kernel (the iOS 16.5 kernel) on Android phone hardware and runs the unmodified iOS 16.5 user space—the system and apps above the kernel—on top. [1] This repository is the kernel-side half: XNU patches, a loader that starts the kernel from firmware, a firmware port, Wi-Fi support, and prebuilt kernel/loader/firmware files. [2a][2b] It runs on a POCO X5 Pro 5G phone or in QEMU on a Linux computer; it is a research bench, and a session lasts a set number of seconds before returning to the loader with its log. [3a][3b]
