What does it do?
Doomformer is a compiler that turns neural networks into DOOM maps, with voodoo dolls—extra player bodies in the map—doing the arithmetic. [1a][1b] It lets someone compile a small neural network into a map, run five inputs through it, and print whether the results match exactly. [2] In one example, the marine draws a digit on a 28×28 floor canvas, and 1,355 voodoo dolls run a handwritten-digit network to light the answer. [3]
