What does it do?
OpenClaw is an open-source AI assistant that runs on a user's own computer and connects to chat services such as Discord, Slack, Telegram, and WhatsApp. [1] Its Gateway is a local control plane for sessions, tools, events, and channel connections, while Channels connect the assistant to messaging services. [2a][2b] A user can connect a messaging service so the assistant is available in that chat. [3a][3b]
