What does it do?
SIwithin runs an agent command-line tool unattended on a written brief, inside a sandbox (“fence”) limited to folders you specify and under a dollar budget. [1] It writes one ledger line per run with status—such as done, contract unmet, killed at budget/timer, stopped by the CLI, or refused—and cost. [2a][2b] It can drive Claude Code or OpenAI Codex CLIs, refusing the home folder and, for Claude, sending API requests through a local proxy that meters them. [3a][3b]

I paid Haiku five cents to break out: five walls, three passes, 15 receipts. Four held. The budget: the model stopped itself just short, since the CLI shows it the dollars left. So the kill was tested below one turn's cost: $0.0001, killed at $0.0002. github.com/metahumansworld/SIwithin/tree/main/tes…
It would not have saved a Console user: it protects a key you have not given away. What it does is remove the reason to give a key to any tool. github.com/metahumansworld/SIwithin/blob/main/STO…
