Introducing things-cli: a command-line tool and MCP server for Things 3 by @culturedcode. mattt/things-cli I've used Things for most of my adult life. My Logbook still has a to-do I completed on July 27, 2008: "Switch to zsh". Like a lot of people who practice GTD, I got really good at capture but never got the hang of review. Some weeks (or months), my inbox has over a hundred items. In the past, I might have declared bankruptcy. But now, with my buddy Claude and this CLI, I can stay on top of it. things-cli reads straight from the local Things database. Writes go through the Things URL scheme, and then it reads the database again to make sure it went through. Start read-only, and turn on writes when you're ready: $ brew install mattt/tap/things $ things mcp config --read-only
