waxon: a vim-modal Spotify client for the terminal that plays music itself, no app needed waxon is a free, open-source Spotify client for the terminal with vim-style keys, written in Go. - Plays music itself. It runs its own Spotify Connect device through librespot, so you don't need the Spotify app open. Setup offers to install librespot and signs it in. It can also act as a remote for the app or your speakers. - Album art, with real images in kitty and Ghostty using the kitty graphics protocol (experimental: press , for settings, set Album art to kitty or auto, then restart). Half-block art everywhere else. - Synced lyrics from lrclib, no account or API key needed. Press l in Now Playing.
