@ViktorPy Your original tweet made me want to revisit the issue. While the problem is located upstream in GTK, we can still pin the font rendering to be manual inside Strata and dodge upstream weirdness. I'll have this in a nightly shortly.

It took a lot of work, but Strata, our file manager, now supports Simplified Chinese! 🎉 Nobody on our team speaks the language, so please forgive any mistakes. If you give it a try, let us know about any issues you find. We want to fix everything and make Strata great for everyone!

A lot of small fixes and additions like these which are just general quality of life improvements upcoming on Strata, things like per-folder settings and improving the feel of miller column mode for mouse users. We are getting closer to our 1.0 release lgse/strata 1/2 🧵
