@trq212 so two things: 1) @bgrant0607, one of the OG kubernetes architects, wrote about drift/forking in K8s, and while code is different i think some concepts that went into the design of the kustomize CLI are at play here - github.com/kubernetes/design-proposals-archive/bl… 2) i think @0xblacklight 's work on a "design-iterated-loop" skill and his talk at AIE captures maybe the shape of "how can we drive agents to keep our fork up to date w/ upstream while preserving our changes" youtube.com (also a very k8s/control-loop-pilled approach)
