How does kepano "zoom" through his fractal journal? From his blog post: > Every few days I review these journal fragments and compile the salient thoughts. I then review those reviews monthly, and review the monthly reviews yearly > The result is a fractal web of my life that I can zoom in and out of at varying degrees of detail. What I'm not getting is how do you structure your journal so that you can easily surface notes from the right timespan? If I'm getting this right, there's: - Journal fragments written throughout the day - Reviews written every few days - Reviews written every month - Reviews written every year But from what I can see, his template provides no structure that allows you to do things like quickly surfacing your past monthly reviews when you're writing a yearly review. The daily note only helps you surface the lowest journal fragments, but not anything from the larger timespans. Any tips?
Share interesting vaults not made by gurus/influencers I recently came across this vault template created by one of Obsidian's maintainers: kepano/kepano-obsidian It also comes with a nice accompanying article: stephango.com I found it to be pretty refreshing, practical and grounded compared to the stuff that productivity gurus/influencer types push. If you know any other cool vault templates/commentaries like this, feel free to share them below!
