interviewstreet/hiring-agent this is how hackerank shortlist the candidates damnnn
The case where my own tool proved me wrong. hiring-agent #271: backend projects lose points for no live demo. I read both PRs and said they fix it. The tool said no to both. Both edit a rubric file that moved in July. Merging either changes nothing. hiring-agent#271
Ran escalation-gate on hiring-agent #131: "open source work is undercounted" Me, by hand: bug is in github.py, PR #134 fixes it. Tool: same file, same verdict. It also found the issue's 404 crash claim is stale: already fixed in main. hiring-agent#131
Code: rdeepak-711/escalation-gate Live packets: escalation-gate-rdeepak.vercel.app Upstream fix: hiring-agent#480 Narration is an AI voice. Every screen is from a real run.
It found a PR that would crash on merge (part 5/5) transform.py line 449: a month map where January maps to January. Dead code, verified. Then it read 11 open PRs. #477 removes an unused parameter but leaves one caller still passing it. Merge that and you get a TypeError. Flagged by the tool, confirmed by me in the diff. It also found a bug nobody had reported. I sent the fix upstream: hiring-agent#480 Code + live packets: escalation-gate-rdeepak.vercel.app Code: rdeepak-711/escalation-gate Narration: AI voice (Kokoro TTS). Every screen is from a real run. #buildinpublic #ai #opensource #python #claudecode
