What does it do?
It is an open-source database about how music represents disease, disability, suffering, and death across cultures and genres. [1] It was built as a collaborative course project that combines musicology with medical humanities, with students analyzing opera, film scores, K-dramas, classical music, and popular songs. [2a][2b]
