Floppy (selfhosted) tracker integration
Hi Dev, I shared this a few days ago in the Discord server but didn't get a reply, so I thought I'd try here. I'd like to suggest adding Floppy as a tracking/sync option in Wuplay, alongside Simkl, Trakt, and MDBList.
What it is: Floppy is an open-source, self-hosted media tracker (a YamTrack fork, now substantially diverged); essentially a Trakt/Simkl alternative you run yourself in Docker. Repo: dannyvfilms/Floppy (~850 stars, actively developed, REST API at `/api/v1`).
What it does: All-in-one tracking for movies, TV, anime, manga, books, comics, games, music, and podcasts; watchlists, watch history, progress, stats, shareable lists. Scrobbles from Jellyfin, Plex, and Emby out of the box.
Why it matters for Wuplay:
1. The community is actively fleeing Trakt's enshittification, and Floppy is one of the strongest self-hosted landing spots right now; Wuplay is alreadycone of the natural homes for ex-Stremio/ex-Trakt users.
2. Lots of Wuplay users are self-hosters already (AIOStreams, Jellyfin, media servers); Floppy completes that stack: a fully local, privacy-first watch-tracking pipeline, no third-party subscription required.
3. It has a documented REST API, so integration would follow the same pattern as existing tracker providers.
Let me know what you think about this suggestion.
Thanks Dev, appreciate you and your work. ❤️

Media tracking: what do you use?
I currently use Watcharr, which does a fine job for manually recording shows and movies, and I appreciate the simplicity of its UI. I'm questioning if I should move to another option though.
I particularly would like to be able to catalog more media: books, webcomics, games, live theater (musicals, opera, ballet, etc.), albums, etc.
As a secondary concern, while I currently rely on streaming, I'd eventually like to shift to using the *arr suite with Jellyfin. I'd like a media tracker to track watch activity through Jellyfin, if possible. I already have Jellyfin set up and have a handful of movies through it, although it's hardly my primary means of media consumption, but I do rely on its OPDS plugin to send e-books to my e-reader rather than using a dedicated self-hosted book management system, and maintain a music catalog that I connect to Symfonium on my phone rather than use something like Music Assistant.
Some options I've seen mentioned, but would like opinions on:
- Scrob
- MediaTracker
- Ryot
- Yamtrack
- Floppy, at recommendatiion of /u/hadsdawson

I miss API in Yamtrack so bad.. I'm using yamtrack(FuzzyGrim/Yamtrack), i have all the data there but i'm missing API access more and more.. I'm considering switching over to dannyvfilms/Floppy. Does anyone tried it? Is it easy to move everything from yamtrack?
