  1. BookLore has 814 exact title matches and no application fingerprint; inventory the library, then verify identity BookLore has 814 exact title matches and no application fingerprint; inventory the library, then verify identity BookLore is a self-hosted, multi-user digital library with local and OIDC authentication, book folders, metadata enrichment and OPDS access. Its first-run flow creates an administrator account, then the administrator creates libraries and adds users. That makes the application a good example of why a precise title count can be useful even when an app fingerprint is absent. On 2026-11-05, a count-only ZoomEye query with sub_type=all, page 1 and page size 1 returned 814 matches for title=="BookLore" and zero for app="BookLore". The exact-title equality operator and the exact string make the 814 count narrower than a contains search, but it still describes a page label rather than a verified running instance. The zero app count does not cancel the title result. What an exposed library actually holds A library server can hold private books, annotations, reading progress, account identities and OPDS credentials. BookLore's documentation says an OPDS user is linked to the BookLore user who created it, and the OPDS surface is limited by the parent user's library access. That is a useful design boundary, but it needs an operational check. A stale OPDS user tied to an account that should no longer have library access is a direct authorization problem. The initial setup documentation also notes that the product version reviewed had no password recovery flow, requiring a database reset if the administrator password was lost. A deployment that exposes a reset process or an administrative tool without a documented recovery path can create both availability and security problems. Protect backups and restore procedures, and test recovery in a controlled environment. Inventory title matches as candidates Use the exact-title query to find public pages that identify BookLore, then resolve them to owned domains, hosting ranges or approved partner assets. Do not attempt login or content access on third-party systems. A training page, a documentation mirror or a title in a search result can match without hosting a library. For owned deployments, compare the external hostname with the reverse-proxy and database inventory. Test the login route, initial setup route and OPDS endpoints. A first-run wizard that remains reachable after setup can be a configuration error. A public OPDS endpoint should require the intended credential and enforce the parent user's library scope after each account change. Review admin creation, user roles, OIDC mapping and library permissions. Separate the account that can create libraries from accounts that only read or download. Confirm that removing a user also removes or disables their OPDS credentials, device sync tokens and active sessions. Check that library folders are mounted read-only for users who should not trigger file moves or metadata writes. Use identity evidence BookLore supports local and OIDC authentication. For local accounts, enforce a password policy and protect the database and backup path. For OIDC, verify issuer, client secret, redirect URI, group claims and logout behavior. An OIDC user with no mapped role should not silently become an administrator. Log administrative user changes, library creation, OPDS credential changes, bulk downloads and failed logins. Alert when an external title match corresponds to a host outside the approved inventory or when a new library is created by an unexpected account. Incident response If an instance was exposed, preserve application configuration, user records, OPDS metadata and access logs. Determine whether an actor reached the setup route, created an account, read library contents or used a device credential. Rotate administrator and OPDS credentials, revoke sessions, remove unauthorized users and verify that each library's files remain inside the intended storage path. The 814 exact-title matches are an inventory lead, not a confirmed exposure count. The product's actual security boundary sits between the public page, the authenticated user and the library and file permissions behind it.
