What does it do?
Pi is an AI agent toolkit and an extensible agent harness that can be customized with extensions, skills, prompt templates, and themes. [1a][1b][1c] It provides a unified API for multiple large language model providers, an agent runtime with tool calling and state management, an interactive command-line coding agent, and a terminal UI library, and it can be used interactively or automated in print or JSON mode. [2a][2b][2c] A supported use is to start Pi in a project directory and give it a task. [3]
