What does it do?
Airflow is a platform for authoring workflows by writing code, scheduling them, and monitoring them. [1a][1b] It lets users define workflows that coordinate tasks, and a scheduler runs those tasks on workers while following dependencies. [2] For example, it can coordinate machine-learning workflows such as training, retraining, evaluation, and deployment. [3]
