We have Unity SDK and it's open source!
It's designed to be extensible, so if something doesn't convert right, it's easy to edit/add more converters.
Our community contributes more converters too to increase coverage of what converts.

For taurs (I'm also friends with a chakat), people have gotten them working with full IK... but I'll be honest, I haven't had much luck myself. If you poke people for help, they'll be able to give more insight on that.
