... this seems to be the fault of pkgs.unstable.powershell. The PowerShell definition does take curl as an input (which would have been unstable's curl), but wouldn't nix/git/qemu/etc all use their appropriate curls instead of taking PowerShell's ? Do I misunderstand how this is supposed to work?

[PowerShell] process terminated totalwidthと表示されてクラッシュする PowerShell 7.6.6を起動すると、「process terminated totalwidth...」などというメッセージが表示されて、すぐにクラッシュしてしまい、起動できないという問題が発生しました。 上の画面が表示された後、勝手に画面が消えてしまい、何の作業もできない状態です。 少し焦りましたが、7.6.7にアップデートすることであっさり解決しました。PowerShell自体を起動することができないので、コマンドを打ってアップデートすることはできないので、以下のURLからPowerShell-7.6.7-win-x64.msiをダウンロードして、アップデートすれば解決すると思います。 github.com/powershell/powershell/releases

PowerShell#28131 アップデート文字が非ASCIIだと何かの長さがマイナスになりPowerShellが起動しなくなるバグに遭遇した

PowerShell (Windows PowerShellではない方) でPowerShell本体のアップデート通知を表示する際に行の高さを計算する処理にバグがあり、英語版以外だと起動と同時にクラッシュする問題が起きている。 最新バージョンにアップグレードすれば通知が出ないので直るが (最新バージョンでもこの問題は残っているので、今後アップデート通知が来たらまた起きることになる) 、winget upgradeでのアップグレードが失敗し、アンインストール・インストールの手順を踏まないといけなかった。なんでこう色々お粗末なの… PowerShell#28131
