Sunshine-Web-RTC + Moonlight WebRTC for Tizen: stream PC games to your Samsung TV with nothing running in between (4K, up to 120 FPS, HDR)
Hi r/tizen!
Hey everyone!, i've been tinkering with streaming PC games to my Samsung TV and wanted to share what came out of it.
It all started with Moonlight WebRTC by tsoas tsoas/moonlight-webrtc-tizen , a really nice Tizen app that streams from Sunshine to the TV. The app, the UI and the whole WebRTC idea are theirs, so please give the original some love.
The one thing that bugged me was the setup on the PC side. The original needs a separate Gateway program running on your PC, sitting between Sunshine and the TV. Sunshine streams to the Gateway as if it were a normal Moonlight client. The Gateway then unpacks every frame and repackages it for
WebRTC before sending it to the TV. It works, but every frame takes a detour on the same machine, and that adds latency and a bit of stutter.
So I cut out the middleman. I made a fork of Sunshine, Sunshine-Web-RTC mlopezsegura/Sunshine-Web-RTC, that speaks WebRTC natively. The frames go straight from Sunshine's encoder to the TV, with nothing in between. I also adapted the TV app
mlopezsegura/moonlight-webrtc-tizen to talk to it.
In practice, here's what changed:
- It feels snappier. In my tests, screen-to-screen latency at 1080p60 went from about 54 ms down to about 8/12 ms (like some monitors).
- Motion is smoother. Frames arrive at an even pace instead of in little bursts.
- There's one less thing to install. You don't need the Gateway or any extra service. You pair the TV with a PIN in Sunshine's web page, just like you'd pair Moonlight, and your usual Sunshine settings apply to the TV.
It supports up to 4K, up to 120 FPS, HDR, HEVC, AV1, gamepads with rumble, and Wake-on-LAN. There's also a little overlay that shows you the actual latency while you play.
The fork is just a small set of patches on top of the official Sunshine https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine , so it can keep up with new releases, and regular Moonlight keeps working as usual. If you're curious about the details, patches.md
Want to try it?
1. Install Sunshine-Web-RTC github.com/mlopezsegura/Sunshine-Web-RTC/releases on your Windows PC. If you had the old Gateway installed, remove it first.
2. Grab MoonlightWebRTC.wgt from the TV app releases https://github.com/mlopezsegura/moonlight-webrtc-tizen/releases and install it with Apps2Samsung Apps2Samsung/Apps2Samsung . You don't need Tizen Studio.
3. Open the app, enter the PIN it shows in Sunshine's web page, and you're done.
It's still a beta, so expect a few rough edges. If you give it a go, I'd love to hear your TV model and year and how it went, good or bad. Issues are open here github.com/mlopezsegura/moonlight-webrtc-tizen/is… .
Thanks to tsoas for the original app!

Tailscale
Sunshine / Moonlight
stream-settings
LocalSend(stream-settings
Parsec
(Rufus)
Windows Update
AMD / Intel
GPU(NVIDIA)
GPU(AMD)
AMD Software
GPU(Intel Arc・Core Ultra内蔵)
Intel Arc Graphics - Windows。
LAN / Wi-Fi / Bluetooth
Blackmagic Desktop Video / AJA / Magewell など
Stream Deck
Elgato Stream Deck
Tailscale
Sunshine(ホスト側)
Moonlight(クライアント側)
Moonlight
「Desktop」
stream-settings
Taildrop
LocalSend(LAN
Sunshine + Moonlight
Parsec(バックアップ)
Tailscale / Sunshine / Moonlight / stream-settings
Xenonlight (Moonlight) for the xbox 360
Hey everyone! I've been working on **Xenonlight**, a port of the Moonlight game streaming client to the Xbox 360. It lets you stream games from your PC (running [Sunshine](LizardByte/Sunshine)) to an RGH/JTAG 360.
**GitHub + download:** roderick-neuhoff/Xenonlight
**Release:** github.com/roderick-neuhoff/Xenonlight/releases/t…
### What it does
- Pair with Sunshine using a PIN, just like Moonlight on other devices
- Browse your games in a grid with box art, then start, resume or quit them
- Stream H.264 video with stereo audio
- Controller input with rumble; up to 4 controllers
- Stats screen after each stream (decode/render time, dropped frames)
### Two versions
| | Dashboard (`default.xex`) | XeLL (`xenon.elf`) |
|---|---|---|
| Launch from | Aurora / FSD / file browser | XeLL |
| Network | Ethernet **and Wi-Fi** | Ethernet only |
| Controllers | Wired + wireless | Wired |
Most people will want the **.xex**. Copy it to e.g. `Xenonlight\default.xex` on your USB/HDD and launch it from Aurora (Dashlaunch needed).
### Quick setup
1. Install Sunshine on your PC
2. Start Xenonlight → **Host address** → enter your PC's IP
3. **Pair with host** → type the PIN into Sunshine's web UI
4. Pick a game. To leave a stream, hold **Back + Start + LB + RB**
### Performance
Video is decoded in software on the 360's CPU, so don't expect 4K60 😅. **720p at 30 FPS, 5–8 Mbps** runs well on my console. Tip: in Sunshine, under NVENC settings, enable **"Prefer CAVLC over CABAC"**, which makes decoding easier on the 360.
### Limitations (for now)
- H.264 only, stereo audio only
- Enter your PC's IP manually (no auto-discovery)
- No mouse support (the 360 OS doesn't support USB mice)
- Experimental: tested on my RGH with Sunshine, so your mileage may vary
### Under the hood (for the nerds)
- The dashboard version is built with the 360 SDK: Direct3D YUV shader rendering, XAudio2, XInput, and FFmpeg H.264 decoding across 4 hardware threads, with new VMX vector code for motion compensation
- The XeLL version runs on libxenon with its own coroutine scheduler and a BSD-socket layer on top of lwIP
- Both share the same UI/app code; everything is GPLv3 and the source is on GitHub
Feedback, bug reports and test results from different setups (Wi-Fi vs. wired, different GPUs, Sunshine vs. GFE) are very welcome! Open an issue on GitHub or comment here. Screenshots/videos of it running on your setup would be awesome too.
Credits: Moonlight & moonlight-common-c, Sunshine, Free60/libxenon, XBMC-360 (FFmpeg port), mbedTLS, Opus, stb, Inter font.
### ⚠️ Full disclosure: this is AI slop code
Pretty much all of this was written by an AI (Claude) while I tested on real hardware and pointed it at bugs. I'm not a 360 dev. It works on my console, but expect weird code, rough edges and bugs. If you know this stuff, PRs and roasts are welcome 😄

Introducing Starwire 0.1.0 - A Comprehensive Android Moonlight Client Solution
Update (2026/10/22): Starwire 0.2.0 is out. The big one is mic passthrough that works with the host you already have (Vibepollo, Sunshine or Apollo, no fork needed): one setup script on the PC, one switch in the app, and your phone or tablet's mic shows up as a normal microphone in Discord or in-game chat. It also fixes settings coming up blank on narrow screens like a Fold's cover screen, adds a short "Impact" line to the settings that cost latency or battery, tidies the stream menu, puts a Quit button beside Resume, and fixes the crash when tapping a running Desktop tile. How it works and what I measured: 0.2.0 post. Download: Releases.
Hey everyone! I have been exclusively streaming games from my headless PC to cloud devices for about five years now. I recently found myself looking for a new Android client, and came upon u/MoreOrLessCorrect's Moonlight X, which includes direct frame pacing and PyroWave support. It had a noticeable impact on my stream quality, even without using PyroWave (I don't have the connection strength to use it in practice), but I wondered how the stream could perform if it had the Fast V-Sync, LFR, Async, and Codec options that Artemis/Artemide has. I also missed some QoL features that the recent Windows forks have adapted that seem to be lagging in terms of an Android client equivalent.
Back-end development started from Moonlight X's fast video pipeline, adds the touchscreen tools from Artemide and Artemis, and picks up favourite features from Moonlight V+, Moonlit Artemis and Moonlight X Turnip. I then gave it a refreshed UI that draws from some of the trends coming out of Silicon Valley these days. It installs next to any Moonlight you already have, so you can try it without giving anything up.
⬇ Download Starwire · GitHub
The whole screen picks up the colour of whatever you select. Games show their own cover art; apps like Desktop or Steam Big Picture get their own icons.
Features & Value Proposition
🎨 A look that follows your game: The screens take their colour from the game you've picked, and apps without cover art get their own icons. Your last game is ready to go with one tap, with its stream settings right under its name.
🎮 Everything during a stream, one tap away: Open the menu with the floating button, a three-finger tap or by holding Select on a controller. Keyboard, full on-screen keyboard, mouse modes, zoom, key shortcuts, monitor switching, bitrate, clipboard: it's all in one grid, and works with a controller too.
The new in-stream menu over Aniimo. Game screenshot © Pawprint Studio, from its Steam page.
⚡ Fast and smooth: A Vulkan renderer, the PyroWave codec, and low-latency options like Warp Drive, Fast V-Sync and async decoding for when every millisecond counts.
🧭 Feature-packed and intuitive settings: Sections with plain names (Stream, Sound & vibration, Controllers…), and a Predicted impact panel that shows whether your choices lean towards fastest response or smoothest motion, and which setting is pushing it which way. Tap a setting that came from another fork and a small line under the panel says where it came from and who made it.
Redesigned Settings, with the Predicted impact panel on the right.
🖐 Made for touchscreens: Pinch to zoom anytime, trackpad modes, long-press to right-click, an on-screen keyboard with every key, and the option to hide the PC's mouse pointer while you play.
📳 Feel the bass: Audio haptics turns a game's bass into vibration on your device or controller.

How it works and what I measured: 0.2.0 post. Download: Releases.
Get started
1. Set up your PC. I use Vibepollo; it enables every feature. Apollo works too, and Sunshine works for everything except a few extras (clipboard sharing, PC commands, Virtual Display and changing the bitrate mid-stream).
2. Install Starwire. Download Starwire-0.1.0.apk from the release page and open it.
3. Pair. Tap your PC, then type the PIN Starwire shows into your host's PIN page (usually https://localhost:47990). You only do this once.
4. Play. Tap a game, then Play.
Android 5.0+. PyroWave and the custom Turnip driver need a 64-bit ARM device. Updates from the releases page install over the top and keep your settings, and Obtainium can keep it updated for you.
Development
I made Starwire as a vibecoding exercise after experiencing the wonderful software that is Vibepollo. I decided what the app should do and how it should look, and Claude Code wrote the code. I also used REA by morluto to look inside the other apps and see how their features work. Every feature is tested on my RedMagic Astra with a GameSir G8+ before it goes in.

Tip: in Sunshine, under NVENC settings, enable **"Prefer CAVLC over CABAC"**, which makes decoding easier on the 360. ### Limitations (for now) - H.264 only, stereo audio only - Enter your PC's IP manually (no auto-discovery) - No mouse support (the 360 OS doesn't support USB mice) - Experimental: tested on my RGH with Sunshine, so your mileage may vary ### Under the hood (for the nerds) - The dashboard version is built with the 360 SDK: Direct3D YUV shader rendering, XAudio2, XInput, and FFmpeg H.264 decoding across 4 hardware threads, with new VMX vector code for motion compensation - The XeLL version runs on libxenon with its own coroutine scheduler and a BSD-socket layer on top of lwIP - Both share the same UI/app code; everything is GPLv3 and the source is on GitHub Feedback, bug reports and test results from different setups (Wi-Fi vs. wired, different GPUs, Sunshine vs. GFE) are very welcome! Open an issue on GitHub or comment here. Screenshots/videos of it running on your setup would be awesome too. I'm not a 360 dev. It works on my console, but expect weird code, rough edges and bugs. If you know this stuff, PRs and roasts are welcome 😄
Introducing Starwire 0.1.0 - A Comprehensive Android Moonlight Client Solution Update (2026/10/22): Starwire 0.2.0 is out. ⬇ Download Starwire · GitHub The whole screen picks up the colour of whatever you select. Games show their own cover art; apps like Desktop or Steam Big Picture get their own icons. Features & Value Proposition 🎨 A look that follows your game: The screens take their colour from the game you've picked, and apps without cover art get their own icons. Get started 1. Development I made Starwire as a vibecoding exercise after experiencing the wonderful software that is Vibepollo. I decided what the app should do and how it should look, and Claude Code wrote the code. I also used REA by morluto to look inside the other apps and see how their features work. Every feature is tested on my RedMagic Astra with a GameSir G8+ before it goes in. Credits Anything that came from another Moonlight version is that author's work.
